There are an estimated 500,000,000 cars in the world today. 120 years ago, there were none. There is an estimated 4,000 - 6,000 planes in the sky over the USA at any moment and tens of thousands around the planet. 109 years ago, there were none. Today there are millions of petroleum powered ocean vessels and small watercraft and lawn and garden machines and diesel locomotives. 120 years ago, there were none.

I am almost 70 yeas old. When I was in grade school in 1950, the popluation of the US was 150 million and the earth had 2.5 billion people. Today the US has 300 million and the planet has over 7 billion. With this increase in population and the increase in use of electric lights, electric appliances, TV's, and computers, there are now tens of thousands of power plants around the world. 120 years ago, there were virtually none.

It is estimated that all these human activities add over 70 million tons of CO2 to the atmosphere every day. 120 years ago, that number would have been near zero.

The correlation between the increase in these human activities and the increase in the average temperature of the planet is as great as the correlation between smoking and lung cancer. Please study the real scientific facts. Global warming is a very serious threat to the future of my grandchildren and yours.

The fact that people are so ignorant to the fact that we are destroying the planet is rediculous, whats worse is the fact that no one cares. All you have to do is look around to see the massive human impact on our world, and why do we think we can keep living like this and that nothing bad is going to happen. The theorys that say the scientist are doing this for money is rediculous as we dont even need scientists to see that the world is going to shit. If we live in a world with people who dont care that were going to ruin something so unique and something we all need to survive then whats the point in saving it?( and the ignorant assholes on it!!)

Due to the overwhelming response to global warming, its effects, and the lack of support from civilians. The Earth is obviously doomed to a firery death because if we do not do our part to prevent its effects and to prevent it from happening... We will all end up victims.

If you don't believe in global warming, you should. It's as real as you and me. If people weren't so thick headed and actually tried to learn something, maybe we could do something to stop global warming.
Do you really want animals to go extinct because of this? And don't say "well I'd rather it be a stupid animal than me." Because guess what, if we let global warming progress far enough, you'll go extinct too. Global warming has already claimed 35,000 lives or more. Do you really want it to claim your life too?
